NICK DE VRIES

Nick is a passionate and approachable physiotherapist from Australia with a strong background in sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. He holds a Master of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, and has worked in two highly regarded private sports clinics in Adelaide. During this time, he developed a broad skill set and a deep understanding of injury management across all age groups and activity levels.

Nick has particular expertise in treating sports-related injuries, including those commonly seen in football, volleyball, and netball. He also has a strong interest in post-operative rehabilitation and helping clients return to their daily lives or sporting goals safely and confidently. In addition, he has experience managing complex neck and back conditions, and is trained in the treatment of vestibular issues such as BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). Nick is also qualified in dry needling, which he integrates where appropriate to support recovery.

Nick takes a patient-centred approach to care. He believes that effective physiotherapy combines manual therapy, structured and progressive exercise, and clear education—ensuring clients understand their condition and feel confident in managing it. He works closely with each individual to uncover the root cause of their issue, rather than just addressing symptoms, with a strong focus on long-term outcomes and injury prevention.

Nick takes the time to listen and understand each client’s individual needs and goals. He focuses on clear communication and practical treatment planning, whether someone is recovering from surgery, managing a long-term condition, or aiming to return to sport. His approach is grounded, collaborative, and tailored to fit each person’s lifestyle.
