Lower limb injuries, patellofemoral disorders, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rehabilitation, complex knee disorders, foot & ankle disorders, neck, hip, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) issues, sporting injuries, pediatric conditions (above 5 yo), concussion, complex presentations, consultancy and second opinion work.

Personal: Multiple age group European and world championships for GB and Ireland in Duathlon. Top 25 finisher European Championships. Played Senior Football for Limerick, Ireland.

STEPHEN GARVEY

Stephen graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from St George’s University of London. He has worked in a variety of elite sports settings, such as professional rugby, GB Sailing and England Hockey. He was fortunate to be a physiotherapist at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014 and in Birmingham 2022 working with olympic-level athletes and para-athletes. He holds a regular clinic for the Royal Ballet and is a Consultant Physiotherapist to guest performers at the Royal Opera House, London.

Stephen is a highly regarded physiotherapist. He treats broad and complex peripheral and spinal musculoskeletal issues. He uses evidence-based research to guide and inform his decision-making in his assessment and treatment of patients. He places great emphasis on accurately diagnosing and performing effective treatment for his patients. He has an extensive network of healthcare professionals that he uses to assist in the care of his patients. Stephen has a special interest in lower limb pathologies and in particular disorders of the knee. Stephen also established the Bike Fit and Running Analysis service at Physio On The Green. He has written and published multiple articles with Cycling WeeklyTriathlon Plus and IM Magazine.

Stephen knows the demands and rigorof high level sport and is a member of the Great Britain and Ireland Duathlon Age Group teams representing those countries at the European and World Championships in 2020-2024.

In 2021, Stephen co-founded Physio On The Green, where he has been working with patients from the local community of south-west London and across the world.

Stephen is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), The Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine (ACPSEM).
