CHRIS CROKER

Chris is a physiotherapist with nearly a decade of clinical experience, having graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (First Class Honours) from the University of Newcastle and worked across clinics in Sydney, Australia and London. This has included the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney and alongside a number of Sydney-based rugby and football clubs.

Having worked for 5 years in an inner-city London clinic, Chris has developed a particular interest in relieving spinal pain and overuse injuries, regularly working with runners and people with all levels of activity with issues such as persistent back and neck pain, and training-related niggles. 

His approach combines providing symptom relief with hands-on manual therapy in the clinic room with targeted, bespoke exercise therapy to accelerate a return to activity. He has found successful treatment comes from determining the underlying cause of an injury, what goals are important to each person and then tailoring treatment accordingly – returning to sport, relieving pain or just being able to burn some energy.

Outside the clinic, Chris will usually be playing some kind of sport –  hockey, golf, running, cycling, tennis, triathlon, windsurfing – anything to be outside and active. 

Chris is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP). He is also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
