MASSAGE THERAPIST

SUSAN AITCHISON

Susan is a highly skilled Level 5 Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapist, having trained at the renowned North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM). Since qualifying in 2022, she has continued to expand her expertise, specialising in Pregnancy Massage, Scar Therapy, Oncology Scar Therapy, Oncology Massage and On-Site Seated Massage.

Passionate about helping clients move and feel their best, Susan works with a diverse range of individuals – from those affected by the growing pains of youth to elderly clients managing chronic conditions.  Expectant and post-partum mums can feel the benefit of soft tissue treatment, as they experience the physical changes during pregnancy and beyond.

Seeing first-hand the impact that scar therapy can have on physical restrictions and movement, Susan was encouraged to follow this path with Restore Scar Therapy training. Clients vary from those recovering from surgical procedures such as caesarian sections or ligament repairs, including treatment for those dealing with scar tissue as a result of cancer treatment. To complement this, and enable a more holistic approach, Susan Findlay’s Oncology Massage Therapy training was undertaken to provide further understanding of how to meet the needs of the oncology client.

She has also brought her skills to the heart of elite sport, providing hands-on support at major events, including the London, Manchester, and Brighton Marathons, the London Duathlon, and the Birmingham Commonwealth Games. She has worked with the Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club’s senior squad and numerous international sports teams (Rugby Union and League, NFL and Netball). And in a couple of career highlights, treated players at
the WTA 200 Surbiton Tennis Trophy and her home country International rugby team.

Dedicated to delivering exceptional care, Susan is a proud member of the Sports Massage Association (The SMA), continuously enhancing her knowledge to provide the highest standard of treatment.
