Unveiling the Facts
There are no reported side effects of EMTT®, however it is a physical treatment so the patient may experience mild discomfort and reddening of the skin. This is very short-lived though and, when compared to the clinical relevant decrease of pain the treatment provides, is a very minor, worthwhile side effect.
Magnetolith EMTT® is the only approved electromagnetic therapy for the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases of the muscle, bone, joints, nerves, tendons and tissues. The effectiveness of electromagnetic transduction therapy in contributing to pain reduction for:

Pain therapy: Chronic pain – e.g. back pain, lumbalgia, tension, radiculopathies, heel pain.

By combining high energy sound waves ESWT on the local treatment area with EMTT ® magnetic fields on a regional treatment area, EMTT® supports the effectiveness of sessions of ESWT by:
- Activating the metabolism
- Revitalising the area
- Further stimulated self-healing
- Immediate therapeutic effect, extends the therapeutic field
As EMTT is the most advanced and latest medical device on the market, at the moment EMTT is not covered by medical insurance companies, but we expect this to change in the future.
After your first appointment, EMTT works to desensitise the affected tendon or region. As treatment sessions progress, the benefits will have a cumulative effect.
