STUART WILLIAMS

Stuart graduated from the University of Cumbria initially completing a BSc in Sport & Exercise
Science in 2016 and then immediately going on to complete a MSc in Physiotherapy in 2018. After
graduating he worked in a private hospital setting as a junior inpatient physiotherapist based
across multiple specialist wards including orthopaedics, neurology and Intensive Care Units (ICU).

However, Stuart’s passion remained firmly in the musculoskeletal and sporting world so quickly
moved into this field within the private hospital setting to focus on this.

Having spent the last 6 years in an outpatient MSK clinic. Stuart specialised in managing and
treating lower limb, upper limb and spinal MSK conditions. His approach is based firmly in the Bio-
Psycho-Social Model of health using methods at the forefront of research studies, offering
innovative treatment options for various health conditions. Stuart has also specialised in vestibular
rehabilitation/dizziness, running and walking gait analysis with further emphasis on lower limb
conditions.

Over the years Stuart has been an avid athlete across many sports from a young age, including
but not limited to, Rugby Union, Squash, Badminton, Tennis, Cricket and Athletics.

Additionally, Stuart is a qualified Level 2 Squash Coach and guided juniors through their training to compete for their county. More recently, Stuart has been taking part in 10Km running races and in 2023
completed his first Super Sprint Triathlon at Blenheim Palace (and will put himself through it again in 2024).

Stuart is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and and the Association of Trauma & Orthopaedic Chartered Physiotherapists (ATOCP). He is alsoregistered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
