The Role

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our team at Physio On The Green. This versatile position is available on a full-time or part-time basis and offers the option to specialise in Women’s Health, Men’s Health, or manage a mixed caseload including general MSK, depending on your interests and expertise.

This role is perfect for a clinician who is passionate about guiding patients from diagnosis to the completion of their rehabilitation journey within our dynamic clinic environment and through collaborative efforts with our established multidisciplinary team (MDT).

For those focusing on Women’s Health, expertise is required in pelvic pain, lumbopelvic pain, obstetric MSK, menopause-related conditions, sexual dysfunction, continence, RED-S, and bone health. For Men’s Health, experience with male pelvic health, prostate cancer, post-surgical prostate and urological conditions, and sexual dysfunction is essential.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Specialised Patient Care:

  • Provide expert treatment and management of pelvic health issues, specialising in either Women’s Health or Men’s Health.
  • Diagnose and treat conditions such as pelvic pain, lumbopelvic pain, obstetric MSK, menopause-related conditions, sexual dysfunction, continence issues, RED-S, and bone health for Women’s Health.
  • For Men’s Health, manage male pelvic health, prostate cancer recovery, post-surgical prostate and urological conditions, and address sexual dysfunction.

Case Management:

  • Manage a mixed caseload, integrating general musculoskeletal physiotherapy if desired, from initial assessment through to the conclusion of treatment.
  • Utilise dynamic clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

  • Work closely with an established multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s health and rehabilitation needs.
  • Engage in regular team meetings and case discussions to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.

Patient Education and Support:

  • Educate patients on their conditions and treatment plans to empower them with the knowledge needed for successful self-management.
  • Implement behavioural and lifestyle interventions as part of the rehabilitation process.

Professional Development and Leadership:

  • Continuously update skills and knowledge through professional development activities, including training, conferences, and research.
  • Contribute to the development of clinic policies and quality improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and patient care.

Remuneration Package:

  • £45-52,000 per annum + bonus scheme (earning potential £52-58,000)
