DAISY GARVEY
Daisy graduated from St Georges University of London in Physiotherapy in 2011. Since then she had worked as a Junior and Senior physiotherapist at a number of London teaching hospitals. Providing her with a huge variety of acute skills and experience, shaping the clinician she is today.
She also has a wealth of experience working in the private health sector; frequently working at a number of London’s most prestigious private hospitals.
Early in her career Daisy chose to specialise in the field of respiratory physiotherapy, an area she had huge interest and skill in.
Daisy is currently based in the community as a highly specialised respiratory physiotherapist and enjoys the variety of her patient’s conditions and presentations. She has a keen interest in the management of long term respiratory conditions such as COPD and Bronchiectasis, especially the use of pulmonary rehabilitation to benefit these patients. Within the acute sector Daisy had a passion for supporting patients through rehabilitation within and beyond intensive care.
During the covid pandemic Daisy worked as a highly skilled physiotherapist at the London Nightingale, providing support for patients and colleagues.
Daisy has the skills to assess, treat and support patients with a variety of respiratory conditions. Always working with the patient to establish their areas of concerns and working on patients specific plans to meet their goals.
Daisy is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and active within respiratory special interest networks.
