BAYLEY ROBSON

Bayley completed her Bachelors degree with Honours in Human Kinetics, specialising in Movement Science from the University of Windsor in Canada. She then moved to the UK to complete her Masters in Physiotherapy at Brunel University London.

Bayley began her career working in the NHS through a variety of areas such as neurorehab, respiratory, cardiac care, and orthopaedics. She has also continued to work privately for a number of different sporting teams, providing pitch-side therapy and developing exercise programmes for athletes. She is currently working with the Hammersmith and Fulham Rugby Club with their youth and adult teams.

After her experience in the NHS, Bayley began working privately as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. She has treated patients with a wide variety of conditions from acute trauma to long term conditions. She enjoys working with her patients in promoting injury prevention and strength and conditioning. Her practice involves a combination of manual therapies, sports and kinesiology taping, and tailored exercise programmes for the individual needs of the patient.

Since 2021, Bayley has also been working to develop her skills as a pelvic floor specialist. She has a passion for women’s health issues and helping women through issues stopping them from being as active as they would like to be. Bayley commonly sees patients for ante-natal and post-natal assessments, return to exercise and running post-natal, perineal tears, c-section scar tissue management, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor dysfunctions, urinary continence issues and overactive bladder, and diastasis recti.

An appointment with Bayley will involve a discussion of symptoms followed by a thorough musculoskeletal and a pelvic floor assessment, if required.  The treatment involves a combination of education and information, manual therapy, pelvic floor myofascial release, and evidence-based exercise prescription all aimed at achieving the goals that the patient has set out to accomplish.

Bayley is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the Pelvic Obstetric and Gynecology Physiotherapists (POGP). She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
